CHAPERONE is a 32' motor boat that came to EPB in need of toe rails and a small mast for running lights and other electrical accessories. Because the motor boat did not already have toe rails, EPB's boat restoration and repair experts had to come up with their own design. Fashioning them off of the bow chocks, the teak toe rails taper in both height and width over the length of the 28' toe rail.
The teak mast was designed in house with input from the owner to house the running lights, VHF antennae and GPS receiver. The mast is hollow to allow all necessary wiring to run internally and the mounting bracket was designed to be able to remove it from the house top easily for maintenance and varnishing.
